Who in their right mind thinks that this is a good idea? In the United States, we do not involve the military in civilian law enforcement. This whole notion of war powers does not make sense as we have not declared war, we haven’t declared war since WWII. Thus far, the FBI has done a fine job dealing with any kind of domestic terrorism, whether Islamists or kooks. This is a step too far.
