I don’t understand why pharmaceutical companies spend millions marketing prescription drugs to consumers. Don’t doctors generally prescribe those drugs for people? Don’t most people generally trust their doctors to give them the right drugs? Why then do the pharmaceutical companies think that advertising their drugs to me is going to increase their sales?
